Everyone’s hour glass of time runs at a different pace, so it’s important to notice the moments to be embraced. Holidays, dinners and cards create memories that last a lifetime. Distance, health or age may affect the time spent together, but memories can be everlasting, no matter where you are. Grandma says, “When you see an eagle, think of me. Filled with Grace: loss of a sibling
They rarely talk about Grace with me. When she died, I lost my family. Life stopped for a brief moment in time. Mommy and Daddy are grieving, unable to see that I am still here. Until my teacher notices I am hurting too. Sharing my needs with my parents, she opens up their eyes so they can see that we are still a family, Mommy, Daddy and me.
